How far in advance should I book?
For Saturdays in peak season (October–April) and any wedding date, four to six weeks ahead is the safe window. Off-peak weekdays we can sometimes turn around in a few days. Call and we’ll tell you the truth about what’s available.
-
Can you hold a date while I decide?
Yes. Once you’ve seen the quote, we’ll hold your date and inventory for up to seven days while you talk it over. After that we ask for a deposit to confirm.
-
How long is the rental period?
Standard rentals run for 48 hours, delivered the day before your event and picked up the day after. Extended rental windows can be arranged for multi-day events; just mention it on your inquiry and we’ll quote accordingly.
Delivery.
-
Do you deliver outside Daytona Beach?
We serve 18 cities across Central and Northeast Florida, from St. Augustine in the north down to DeLand and the New Smyrna Beach area. Delivery is quoted by distance from our Daytona warehouse, and we’ll show the fee in your quote up front, not as a surprise on event day.
-
Do you set up and break down the rentals?
Our crew handles drop-off and pickup. Actual setup of the rental items at the venue is handled by your venue staff or planner. That keeps your costs lean and lets us focus on what we do best (delivering elegant inventory on time, in perfect condition).
Payment.
-
How much is the deposit, and when is the balance due?
A 50% deposit holds your date and inventory. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the event. If you’re booking within 30 days of your event date, the full amount is due at the time of booking.
-
What payment methods do you accept?
[TODO: Andrew, confirm accepted payment methods. Most common: card (Stripe), check, ACH. List what works on your end.]
Custom requests.
-
Can you source something that isn't in the catalog?
Often, yes. We have working relationships with regional suppliers and can sub-rent specialty items when it makes sense. Send us a photo and the date. We’ll come back with what’s possible and what it costs.

How do I book Dreamhaus styling alongside the rentals?
The same quote covers both. When you send your inquiry, mention you’d like styling. Karen will join the conversation and put together a Dreamhaus proposal scoped to your budget. One team, one invoice. See Dreamhaus →

Can I book Dreamhaus design without renting from Black Tie?
Yes. Plenty of clients book Karen for paper goods, balloon installs or full event design as a standalone service, independent of the rental side.
